Since 1991, he's focused exclusively on action sports.
For twelve years, he has been the author of the Market Watch column and other business focused articles in the TransWorld Business publications. His writing has also appeared in Ski Area Management, as “The Harbaugh Report” on the SAM web site, in the National Association of Ski Areas Journal, and in Snowsports Industry of America publications.
Jeff has been a speaker for the Board Retailer's Association, at SIA's Las Vegas Trade Show, TransWorld Snowboard Conferences, the National Ski Areas Association annual convention, TransWorld Skateboarding Conference, and for the Scuba Diving Industry Conference.
He has prior experience in banking, corporate development, strategic planning and turnaround management. He received his MBA in finance from The Wharton School.

Union Bank Management Consulting Department. Vice President and Manager. Sold and managed consulting assignments in financial planning, strategy and general management consulting.
